Faith Comes by Hearing / La Fe Viene por el Oír Rom. 10:17
It takes faith to live like a Christian and walk out God’s plan for your life. And faith only comes from one place – from God’s Word (Romans 10:17). If faith came another way, I would tell you.
Se necesita fe para vivir como un cristiano y vivir en el plan de Dios para tu vida. Y la fe solo viene de una fuente, de la Palabra de Dios (Romanos 10:17). Si la fe viniera de otra manera, te lo diría.
2. I’ve heard people say, “If I could just see a miracle, then I would have faith.” If seeing miracles were enough in themselves, then the children of Israel would have had more faith than anyone, and they would have believed God about entering the Promised Land. The book of Exodus records numerous miracles: water turns into blood, sticks transform into snakes, seas part. There are many miracles chronicled in the Old Testament and the New Testament, but Hebrews 3:19 says, “They could not enter in [to the promised land] because of unbelief.”
He escuchado a la gente decir: "Si pudiera ver un milagro, entonces tendría fe". 3. Faith doesn’t come from seeing miracles or hearing other people’s testimonies; it comes from hearing and believing the Word of God. The children of Israel didn’t believe God’s words; they believed more in the giants they could see. So they didn’t get to enter into the Promised Land.
La fe no proviene de ver milagros o escuchar los testimonios de otras personas; viene de escuchar y creer la Palabra de Dios. Los hijos de Israel no creyeron las palabras de Dios; Creían más en los gigantes que podían ver. Así que no pudieron entrar a la Tierra Prometida.
4. It is going to take faith for you to live like a Christian and walk out God’s plan for your life. Your faith overcomes the trials and questions in your world. If you want to build up your faith, then turn to the Word of God, the blueprint.
'For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. ‘ 1 John 5:4
Requiere tener fe, para que vivas como un verdadero cristiano, y para caminar dentro del plan de Dios para tu vida. Tu fe vencerá las pruebas y preguntas en tu mundo. Si quieres aumentar tu fe, entonces recurre a la Palabra de Dios, el plan.
'Porque todo lo que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo; y ésta es la victoria que ha vencido al mundo, nuestra fe. ‘ 1 Juan 5:4
5. Faith is simply believing what God has said, more than what you see happening around you. It is believing something you can’t see yet based on what God has promised in His Word. And it’s your victory. You were never meant to live on this planet without the Word of God. It’s your lifeline. It is your instruction manual.
La fe es simplemente creer lo que Dios ha dicho, más de lo que ves que sucede a tu alrededor. Es creer en algo que no puedes ver, aún basado en lo que Dios ha prometido en su Palabra. Y es tu victoria. Nunca debiste vivir en este planeta sin la Palabra de Dios. Es tu salva vida. Es tu manual de instrucciones.
6. The Bible itself tells us that we should let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. Sadly, many Christians allow the Word to dwell in them poorly. They read just a little bit. Every day you go without reading your Bible is a day you’re trying to live life in your own strength. Believe me, that is too hard. The more you read, the better you live.
La Biblia misma nos dice que debemos dejar que la Palabra de Cristo mora abundantemente en nosotros. Tristemente, muchos cristianos permiten que la Palabra habite muy poco en ellos. Sólo leen un poco. Cada día que pasas sin leer tu Biblia es un día en el que intentas vivir la vida con tus propias fuerzas. Créeme, eso es demasiado difícil. Cuanto más lees, mejor vives.
'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. ‘ Colossians 3:16
'La palabra de Cristo more en abundancia en vosotros, enseñándoos y exhortándoos unos a otros en toda sabiduría, cantando con gracia en vuestros corazones al Señor con salmos e himnos y cánticos espirituales. ‘ Colosenses 3:16
